Debbie Ziegelmeyer is the State Director of Missouri MUFON, a member of the MUFON Business Board of Directors, a MUFON Star Team Investigator, founder of the MUFON Dive Team, and a MUFON archivist. She is also a 30 year independent UFO Investigator, a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor, and a small business owner in Imperial, Missouri.
Debbie was a volunteer archeologist on two NBC projects, “Roswell Crash Starling New Evidence”, which published her personal experiences in a book entitled “Roswell Dig Diaries”, and a UFO Hunters episode entitled “Roswell Revisited”. She also appeared on an episode of “Close Encounters” as an expert on the 1970s “UFO Flap” in Piedmont, Missouri, and was an expert commentator on the Travel Channel series “Mysteries in National Parks”. Debbie is partnered with her brother Chuck Zukowski reinvestigating the Roswell New Mexico incident of 1947, and currently investigating the 37 degree latitude “Paranormal Highway”. She is featured in Ben Mezrich’s new book “The 37th Parallel” which covers this investigation. Debbie also worked with Ted Phillip’s CPTR investigating group researching Marley Woods, and has been a MUFON Field Investigator for over 17 years investigating over 1200 UFO sighting reports. Debbie has been an amateur astronomer since childhood and has made several personal appearances over the past 15 years as a public speaker on the UFO topic including an appearance as a guest speaker at the 2013 MUFON Symposium.
